The College of Law Practice Management (COLPM) has inducted St. Thomas attorney Tom Bolt as a Fellow in the College. Attorney Bolt is the first inductee from the territory and is president and managing attorney of BoltNagi PC, a full-service business law firm headquartered on St. Thomas. The induction ceremony was held in at the 2018 Futures Conference in Boston, Mass., on Oct. 26.
Fellows are distinguished law practice management professionals who represent law firms, educational institutions, professional associations and other organizations that contribute to excellence in law practice management. They are nominated by their peers each year and elected by Trustees of the College. “To be recognized among the innovators in the field is an honor,” said Bolt.
COLPM was formed in 1994 to honor and recognize distinguished law practice management professionals, to set standards of achievement for others in the profession, and to fund and assist projects that enhance the highest quality of law practice management. The College and its Fellows inspire excellence and innovation in the practice of law by honoring extraordinary achievement, developing and exchanging and disseminating knowledge and stimulating innovation in the delivery of legal services.
“As past chair of the American Bar Association Law Practice Division and now as a member of the ABA’s Board of Governors, I have focused upon the challenges confronting the legal profession, and particularly as they impact the management of law firms. Today, the issues are more complex than ever in providing quality legal services for value to our clients.”
