The St. John Historical Society (SJHS) will celebrate 45 years and four of its longstanding board members with a cocktail sip at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, April 7, at Lucky Chops restaurant. There will be hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, music, a silent auction and a raffle. Dress is island fancy.
Beverly Biziewski, Andromeada Childs, Margaret Labrenz and Elroy Sprauve will be honored at the event. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased in advance at Connections or from Historical Society board members, or by calling Lonnie Willis, SJHS president, at 344-4303.
