Gregory Williams

Gregory Williams, better known as “Mobiley,” died on July 15.

He is survived by his: son: Gregory Williams, aka Marve; adopted son, Jelani Charleswell aka Charlo; daughters: Shaniqua Williams-Foy, JYlisha, Lorina and Jakara Williams; grandchildren: J’Yhan and J’Yhanique Powell, D’Yhanique, Dy’Neajah and Dy’Niyiah Foy, J’koy and J’koia Pogson, Brandon, Zion and Jayden Carter; sisters: Barbara Marcelli, Suzette Williams and Youlanda Joseph; adopted sisters: Marcia Roebuck and Donna Lange; and brothers: Miquelito Marcelli and Michael Williams Sr.

He is also survived by adopted brother, Anderson Pratt; nieces: Charmaine Battiste- Joseph, Tandrea and Tiffany Marcelli, Sonisha Stevens, Sheawyond, Jahmeka and Jahmela Williams; great niece, Ce’ Cree Smith; great-great-niece, Maya Hodge Joshua; adopted niece, Owanna Lans-Stout; nephews: Micheal Williams Jr., Timmeon and Serjio Marcelli, Jahbaar Williams, J’Wanni Austin, David Nicholas and Jemmel Joseph; great nephews: Desho Joshua and Jalen Joseph; and great- great-nephews: Jakeem Joshua, Kareem and Kouree Sasso.

Other survivors include uncles: Warren, Authur, George and Ike Williams, and Raymond Hodge; son-in-law, Dion Foy; brother-in-law, Bert Joseph aka Kasa; special love, Carin Charleswell-Thomas; special friends: Selmo Bell, Elmo Joseph, Clive Taylor, Jacqi Williams, Alwyn Smith Jr., Garnette Martin and Flora Williams, Dennery and Alverne Lettsome; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 1, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. The second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 2, at Church of God of Prophecy. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.
