Used tires inspired Coral Bay artist George Hollander’s annual light sculpture this year.
Each year around the holiday season Coral Bay artist and artisan George Hollander creates a unique and inspirational light sculpture on the edge of his deck overlooking the harbor.
Hollander’s past installations have reflected arrows shooting skyward, star bursts soaring over the hillside and more. This year, the artist was inspired by a more down-to-Earth material — old tires.
While speaking to enviornmental concepts, the sculpture also reflects hope and peace with twinkling lights and an etheral feeling.
