Early voting will continue from Thursday, Oct. 18 through Monday, Oct. 29, at St. Croix and St. Thomas Election Offices. On St. John, early voting will be held Oct. 20-23. The hours for voting are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“We are urging the public, especially senior citizens and individuals with disabilities, to please take advantage of this opportunity,” said Supervisor of Elections Caroline F. Fawkes.
Office locations are as follows:
St. Croix Elections Office: Sunny Isles Annex, Unit 4
St. Thomas Elections Office: Lockhart Gardens (Upstairs Banco Popular)
St. John Elections Office: Market Place Suite II (Oct. 20-23)
The number of electors who have participated in early voting to date by island are as follows: St. Thomas: 1,358 and St. Croix: 987, for a total of 2,345 voters over the three-day period. Supervisor Fawkes expects the number to rise significantly as early voting continues.
