Carmen Rivera died on Sept. 10. She was 91 years old.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Selena Mercado; father, Domingo Rivera; son, Carmelo Camacho; sisters: Antonila Zadra and Iluminada Lopez; brothers: Margao Rivera and Antolino Camacho: grandson, Nemecio Camacho II.
She is survived by her sons: Nemecio Camacho Jr., Juan Camacho, Victor Camacho, Luis Camacho and Robert Camacho; granddaughters: Jasmyeal Camacho, Tiffany Camacho, Jesenia Camacho, Carmen Camacho, Marina Camacho and Janyza Camacho; grandsons: Michael Camacho and Emmanual Camacho; sisters: Juanita Rivera and Inez Rosario; daughters-in-law: Hilda Camacho, Michelle Camacho and Sally A. Camacho Ph.D.; great-grandchildren: Joshua Lowe Jr., Jayda Lowe, Jazlynn Lowe, Jaylynn Lowe, Nasiem Venner, Nemecio Camacho IV, Desmond McDonald, Brandon Williams Jr., Brandon Faustin and Liam Faustin; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Holy Cross Catholic Church viewing at 10 a.m. with service beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Christiansted Cemetery.
