WTJX-TV, the Virgin Islands PBS member station, is now available on the local DISH Network. “I am over the moon that we are finally available on Dish, and we can be found on the same virtual channel that we have had for 47 years, Channel 12,” said Tanya-Marie Singh, WTJX’s CEO. “Dish customers will now get the best of both worlds: the PBS national programs that we all know and love, and the best in local programming.”

Dish customers will get their first big treat in January when WTJX broadcasts the festival parades live on Jan. 3 and 4 as it celebrates music, culture and pageantry. And, on Jan. 13, WTJX will get down to business when it brings live coverage of Gov. Albert Bryan’s second State of the Territory Address.

“I would like to thank everyone that got us to this point, especially viNGN and its COO, Daryl Wade, Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett and the professionals at the Dish Network who have been so patient with us during our transition,” said Singh. “I’m pleased to give Dish customers this Christmas gift.”

WTJX-TV can be seen on Viya Cable Television, Dish Network, or with an antenna.
