WAPA Service Interruption Scheduled for June 19

Approximately 100 customers on St. John Feeder 7E will experience an electrical service interruption on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, as crews make permanent repairs to an underground switch, riser poles and wires along the feeder path. The work will begin at 9 a.m.

The entire feeder will be de-energized at the beginning and end of the repair work. During those periods, approximately 1,105 customers will be affected for an approximate 20-30 minute period.

All work is expected to be completed by 1 pm with service restored to all customers.  Motorists traversing the areas where work is being performed are asked to proceed with caution, for the safety of crews and other drivers.

The Authority apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this service interruption and assures customers that every effort will be made to restore electrical service as quickly as possible.
