The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA) Preserving Paradise team advises the community of the hours of operation for the its solid waste facilities and administrative offices in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.
Landfills, Transfer Stations (TS), Convenience Centers (CC)
St. Thomas: Bovoni Landfill from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 12
St. Thomas: Mandahl CC from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 12
St. John: Susannaberg TS from 7 a.m. to noon on Nov. 12
St. Croix: St. Croix TS from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 12
St. Croix: Peter’s Rest CC from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 12
All administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, Nov. 13.
VIWMA’s management and staff encourages all to take time to reflect on the many sacrifices made by so many men and women that served for the freedom of others.
