Vivian Lang Marshall Dies in Baltimore

Vivian Lang Marshall

Vivian Lang Marshall of Estate Mon Bijou died on July 28 in Baltimore, Md., surrounded by family. She was 89 years old.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Melvin Marshall; mother, Alberta Tokes-Samuel; father, Jacob Lang; sister, Margaret McIntosh; and brothers: Theophil Lang, David and Oneale Samuel.

She is survived by her loving son, Michael Marshall; loving daughter, Marilyn Marshall; grandchildren: Latoya Warrington, Shyla Marshall-Almestica, Tamara Walcott, TeVaun Ferris, Makeda and Kimyra McIntosh; great-grandchildren: N’Yesha and N’Yasiah Almestica, Masjahlee and Bryce Walcott; sister, Joan Henley; brothers: Ira, Leroy Sr., Richard Jr., Rubio and Clemence Samuel, and Ernest Bess; and brothers-in-law: Bruce McIntosh Sr. and Leroy Henley Sr.

She is also survived by sisters-in-law: Roberta, Sandra, Leona, Amaryllis and Geraldine Samuel; and nieces: Sandra Browne, Deborah Samuel, Joan Samuel-Daniel, Ineta Jones, Sharon Nibbs, Rochelle Samuel, Glenis Delemos, Tracy McIntosh, Renee Samuel, Donah Samuel, Natassia Samuel-Fenton, Nicole Samuel-Holmes, Oreale Samuel, Eve Samuel, Sasha Samuel, C’Niqua Samuel and Chante Samuel.

Other survivors include nephews: Richard Samuel III, Leroy Henley Jr., Leroy Samuel Jr. Karin Samuel, Bruce McIntosh Jr., Corey Samuel, Oneale Samuel, Anthony Samuel, Omari Samuel and Lamel Samuel; many great nieces, great nephews, godchildren and cousins too numerous to mention; special friends: Claudette Schrader and family, Donah Brow and family, Sylvia Gibbs and family, and the Jackson family; as well as care givers: Zoe and Shay.
