Virgin Islands Crime Stoppers Needs Your Help

Crime Stoppers of the Virgin Islands is asking the community to help the Virgin Islands Police Department to find the murderer of Juan Ayala.

Mr. Ayala was found dead from multiple gunshots on Monday, January 5, outside his home in Estate Pastory, St. John.

Police say there may have been two suspects and one suspect is described as a black male with braided hair. 

 

VIPD Commissioner James McCall reminds residents there is a $10,000 reward available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any murderer in the Virgin Islands offered by the police department.

People with information are urged to call police emergency 911, the Major Crimes Unit at 715-5522, or the Chief of Police’s Office at 715-5548. Anyone with information on this or any other crime is also urged to call Virgin Islands Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or visit www.crimestoppersusvi.org and submit an anonymous tip online.

No one has to give their name or testify in court. If the information provided leads to an arrest of the person involved in this crime, the tipster will earn a cash reward of up to $2,500.

 

Crime Stoppers of the Virgin Islands is asking the community to help the VIPD to find the suspect or suspects involved in the January 10 shooting at the Frontline Night Club on St. Croix. Police say there were at least three suspects hiding in nearby bushes who fired weapons at vehicles and the club.

Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly shot and wounded a bartender and then fled the area. The suspect is described as being a black male 18 to 20 years old, slim build with braided hair. The suspect speaks with a stateside accent and may be from the Atlanta area.
