V.I. Parole Board Schedules Parole Hearings in Territory and on Mainland

The Virgin Islands Parole Board (Board) advises the public that it will convene over the course of several days, beginning in November, to hear testimonies from persons for and against inmates who are incarcerated at various penal institutions.

During the following days, the Board will meet inmates at the Criminal Justice Complex on St. Thomas on Nov. 15, and on Nov. 18, it will meet inmates at the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility. All morning meetings will start at 8 a.m.; the afternoon sessions will start at 12:30 p.m.

On Dec. 2, the Board will meet inmates at the Keen Mountain Correctional Facility in Oakwood, Va. and Wallen Ridge State Prison located in Pound, Va. On Dec. 5 and Dec. 6, inmates the Board will meet inmates at Citrus County Detention Facility, Lecanto, Fla.

The V.I. Parole Board will be taking information on Nov. 19 at Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility in person or via telephone from those individuals who will be sharing testimony on behalf of or against any inmate incarcerated at Citrus County Detention Center, Keen Mountain Correctional Center or Wallen Ridge State Prison.

The Board will travel to the mainland to conduct parole hearings for the following inmates at the following prisons:
