V.I. Bureau of Internal Revenue: Tax Day Extended to June 29

All income taxpayers are reminded that Tax Day, which is normally on April 15, has been extended to June 29. The extended tax date also applies to calendar-year corporations, according to Marvin L. Pickering, director of the Virgin Islands Bureau of Internal Revenue (VIBIR).

This means that taxpayers will have until June 29 to file their income tax returns with the BIR. All tax offices will have extended office hours on June 29 to assist taxpayers with the timely filing of their tax returns.
