UVI Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday on January 20 The University of the Virgin Islands will be closed in commemoration of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday, Jan. 20. Classes and administrative offices resume on Jan. 21, at their regularly scheduled times.
2020 Youth Ocean Explorers Summer Program Registration Now Open Registration for the 2020 Youth Ocean Explorers Summer Program is now open. This 4-week marine science-based summer program is open to students in grades 7-12 and will take place from July 13 to Aug. 7.
Interested applicants should log on to www.vimas.uvi.edu to apply before May 1.

UVI’s 58th Charter Day Walk/Run to be held on March 20 on AAS Campus The annual One Mile Walk/Run celebrating the University of the Virgin Islands’ 58th Charter Day will take place at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, March 20.
Registration will take place at the UVI Bookstore from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix.
The registration fee is $10 to the day of the race. The first 10 registered receive a free commemorative T-shirt.
