Isolated to scattered showers during the evening and early morning hours are expected through the end of the workweek mainly across the local waters. Overall, fair weather and mostly sunny skies are forecast across the local area for the next couple of days. There is, however, an upper trough approaching the region late Friday, which may increase shower activity. Winds are now east-southeasterly and are expected to become more southeasterly by Thursday.
Hazardous seven foot seas are forecast and a Small Craft Advisory is in effect for most of the local waters. There is a high risk of rip currents for some of the northern beaches of St. Thomas and a moderate risk of rip currents for the remaining beaches across the territory.
