Tradewinds Kicks Off Third Year of ‘Best of St. John’

Do you have a favorite restaurant, shop or service that you feel deserves proper recognition? Then nominate your favorite business in this year’s St. John Tradewinds readers poll, The Best of St. John 2007.

There is no charge to nominate someone for the readers poll, now in its third year.

The readers poll categories are entertainment, recreation and sports, home and garden, favorite finds, fashion and accessories, services, wellness, dining out and food and drink specialties. Voters may also write in their own categories or suggestions.

The ballot can be found in this week’s St. John Tradewinds on page 17, and will run in the newspaper for the next six weeks. No photocopied ballots will be accepted. Voters are encouraged to legibly print nominees and use complete names of individuals and businesses.

Ballots can be dropped off at Connections and Connections East, Mail Center, or the St. John Tradewinds office, located on the third floor of The Marketplace in Office Suites II, office 104.

Ballots can also be mailed to St. John Trade-winds, Attn: Best of St. John, P.O. Box 1500, St. John, VI 00831.

Ballot Deadline: February 28
All entries must be received by February 28.

The winners will be announced in the March 12-18 edition of St. John Tradewinds, and will receive a Best of St. John certificate and recognition in the local community newspaper.

The readers poll is a great way to recognize  and support businesses that go out of their way to provide great service, according to St. John Trade-winds Publisher MaLinda Nelson.
