Thanks for Coverage of TPL Benefit

Tradewinds,

Many thanks for the nice coverage of our show, Sybil and Friends, at Maho Bay Camps, for the benefit of the Trust for Public Land in its efforts to save Estate Maho and big Maho Bay.

As the organizer of the event, I want to publicly thank the many who made it possible: the musicians — Sally Smith and Harvey Werbel, Cliff Finch, Lem (Lazzie) Liburd and Andrew Cameron, Steve Simon; Steve Simon and Eddie Barrie for sound, the staff of Maho Bay Camps, and Maggie Day.

Special thanks to John Garrison of The Trust for Public Land, the Friends of the V.I. National Park and the National Park officials for their continuing efforts to save this precious piece of the rock from development. And to the audience for supporting these efforts.
And a very heartfelt thanks to the Marsh Family heirs for their willingness to sell their inheritances for preservation rather than development.

May I also urge anyone who has ever enjoyed the pristine waters of big Maho Bay and the glorious mountains of green above it to send in a contribution — no matter how big or small — to John Garrison at the Trust for Public Land, www.tpl.org or (727)895-5090, ext. 202.
