Temporary North Shore Road Westbound Lane Closure Saturday, Dec. 3

St. John, USVI — Due to the Ten Bay 10K Road Race event, the westbound lane of North Shore Road will be closed temporarily on the morning on Saturday, December 3rd. The westbound lane closure is expected to last from approximately 6:30 am to 8:40 am.

The east bound lane from Cruz Bay towards Coral Bay will remain open allowing uninterrupted access to North Shore beaches from the Cruz Bay area.

Beginning at 6:40 am, traffic on North Shore Road will not be permitted to flow from the Cruz Bay/Annaberg intersection westbound to Cruz Bay. Drivers will still be able to access Francis Bay and Annaberg from Kings Hill/Centerline Road.

At 7:30 am, the westbound lane of North Shore Road will reopen at the Caneel Bay entrance. At approximately 8:10 am, the lane will reopen at Peter Bay. At approximately 8:15 am, the lane will reopen at Cinnamon Bay Campground. At approximately 8:40 am, the lane will reopen and traffic may flow normally.

The Virgin Islands Police Department, the National Park Service, and St. John Rescue will be on site to monitor and direct traffic throughout the event.
