The St. John Community Crisis Center (formerly known as the Safety Zone) and its board of directors has issued a statement to inform the Virgin Islands' community, particularly St. John, of an amicable resolution to a dispute with its former executive director, Dr. Iris Kern.
"We acknowledge Kern's hard work and probity and her commitment to the eradication of violent crime and the treatment of those affected by crime in our community," according to the press release. "We wish to put all misunderstandings behind us and wish her much success in the future."
