SAVE THE DATE: Second Annual Coral Bay Bizarre Bazaar Is Set for Dec. 13 at Pickles in Paradise

Mark your calendars and dust off your jingle bells. On Saturday, December 13, the Coral Bay Bizarre Bazaar returns for its second year to Pickles In Paradise on route 107 just past the Coral Bay Triangle.

At last year’s event, hundreds of St. John residents and island visitors alike reveled at the surprise hit party of the season. While enjoying non-stop music, dancing, eating, drinking, shopping, and a surprise visit from Santa Claus attendees raised over $12,000 through fundraising raffles, contests, auctions, and a yard/plant sale to support Coral Bay Community Council activities.

This year’s party promises to be even bigger. More entertainment! More shopping! More kids activities! More prizes! More Bizarre! More Bazaar!

The Coral Bay Community Council (CBCC) is the host of the Bizarre Bazaar and uses the proceeds to fund its programs. The CBCC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization staffed by two employees and dozens of volunteers, and gratefully receives charitable donations.

The CBCC helps assure that the Coral Bay community has safe drinking water, clean beaches and bay waters, cultural and environmental protection, and land-use and development accountability. For more information, visit CBCC’s website at: http://www.coralbaycommunitycouncil.org
The CBCC will direct the proceeds to projects supporting the Coral Bay community. The Coral Bay Agriculture Center has been selected to receive a portion of this year’s funds for repairs to the building that houses the community room in cooperation with the American Legion Post.
The Bizarre Bazaar planning committee is busy taking your ideas and making them a reality. Community involvement and suggestion are welcomed. Volunteers are needed. Beginning in November, event organizers will be accepting donations for the auction, the raffle, the yard sale, the plant sale and sponsorships.  Direct questions and suggestions via email to CBbizarrebazaar@gmail.com or call Nancy Stromp at 775-0533.
