Crime Stoppers USVI is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the apprehension of Paul “Bogus” Girard. That’s double the amount initially offered a week ago for the capture of the serial violent offender.

According to Crime Stoppers, Girard is wanted for escaping from a detention facility.

Girard, who is considered armed and dangerous, is well known to V.I. Law Enforcement, who have arrested him in connection with a 2011 homicide, a 2015 jewelry store robbery, and a 2014 case of possession of contraband in prison.

Police warned anyone who comes in contact with Girard to not approach or attempt to apprehend him.

He stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 210 pounds. He wears his hair in long black locks, and has “Linda” tattooed on his left shoulder.
