I have been trying to find out what the updated story is on the little duckling dinghies in Cruz Bay. I think it was rumored that they were financially sponsored by the tourism department and so I tried to find contact info for Beverly Nicholson Doty to ask her but couldn’t discover an email address. I rarely see them out, and only four or five times have actually seen anyone that appears to be a tourist using them. I certainly have never seen more than one used at a time and they have over 10 of them! Those boats are $10,000 apiece and they are just sitting in the water unused. Who is footing the bill?
