Remembering Carl Holt

Dear St. John Friends,

Thanks to all of you for attending the recent memorial service at Maho Bay for Carl Holt (“Calabash”).

Capt. Phil and Allison from s/v Wayward Sailor conducted a lovely service on the beach, as well as providing us with transportation to spread his ashes here.

Thanks, too, to his daughter, Debbie and her family for allowing us to have him brought here for this service and to let this be his final resting place.

Winnie and Marcel Whitney lovingly returned him to us, and our thanks to them for that!

A big thank you to Rae of Keep Me Posted in Coral Bay for printing up the posters for us to put up around the island.

Special thanks to Jim and Beva Philips, Sherrie Rayber, and everyone who brought chairs, food, drinks, ice and all the other things to make our very special Sunday Fun Day at Maho (for Calabash).

Thanks, too, to all of his St. John extended family for coming out to pay your respects, remember him and share in the day.
