Registration Open for Girls Under-15 Soccer Developmental Training

The U.S. Virgin Islands Soccer Association (USVISA) is inviting girls interested in playing, having fun and getting fit with soccer to register for the upcoming girls developmental training program geared to girls 15 years and younger.  This initiative aims to introduce girls in born January 2005 or later to the fundamentals of soccer and build a pool of players who will participate in tournaments on a local, regional and international level.

Participants in this Developmental Training Program will be eligible for selection to the USVI National Under-15 Girls Soccer Team that will participate in a CONCACAF Tournament, tentatively scheduled for August in Florida.

To register and get more information, call Coach Bailey at 332-6928.  On St. Croix, training will be held at 4 p.m. at the Bethlehem Soccer Complex.

There will be a parent information meeting on St. Thomas on at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Montessori School field.   Training information for the athletes on St. Thomas will be given at the meeting. On St. Thomas or St. John, call Carol at 643-5837.
