Public Services Commission to Close Offices March 23 Until Further Notice

The Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (PSC) Executive Director Donald G. Cole and the staff strongly encourages all Virgin Islanders to follow the guidelines of the Office of the Governor, the V.I. Department of Health, and the U. S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) in practicing social distancing to control and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In adhering to these guidelines, the PSC will close its offices in both the St. Thomas-St. John and St. Croix Districts effective Monday, March 23.  This is due to the agency’s constant interaction with the public.  The health and safety of PSC personnel, the regulated utilities and the community remain a top priority. However, the PSC will still serve the public by working remotely and virtually.

The commission’s in-person “walk-in service” will be restricted until further notice, but all documents can be submitted electronically by contacting it at St Thomas (776-12910), St. John (776-1391) or St. Croix (778-6010).

Utility complaints will be accepted by phone, and additional information can be obtained by visiting the website at www.psc.vi.gov and/or the Facebook page: “Virgin Islands Public Services Commission.”  Information regarding the scheduling of commission meetings will be posted on the website www.psc.vi.gov and PSC social media outlets.
