Public Services Commission Closes Offices; Staff to Work Remotely

The Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (PSC) Executive Director Donald G. Cole and the staff strongly encourage all Virgin Islanders to follow the guidelines of the Office of the Governor, the Virgin Islands Department of Health, and the U. S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) in practicing social distancing to control and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In adhering to these guidelines, the PSC will be closing its offices in both the St. Thomas-St. John and St. Croix Districts effective Monday, March 23.  This is due to constant interaction with the public.  The health and safety of the PSC personnel, the regulated utilities and the community in which it serves, remain the top priority. However, the Public Services Commission will still serve the public by working remotely and virtually.

The PSC’s in person “walk-in service” will be restricted until further notice, but all documents can be submitted electronically by contacting the commission on St. Thomas at 776-1291, on St. John at 776-1391 or on St. Croix at 778-6010.

Utility complaints will be accepted by phone, and additional information can be obtained by visiting the website at or the Facebook page “Virgin Islands Public Services Commission.”  Information regarding the scheduling of Public Services Commission meetings will be posted on the website and social media outlets.
