Possible Passing Showers Tuesday, Drier Wednesday

Lingering moisture associated with a departing tropical wave will continue to combine with an upper level trough and may result in passing showers throughout the day today. The chance for showers will decrease on Wednesday as stable air mass moves in from the east. Haziness associated with Saharan dust is also expected Wednesday and Thursday.

Across the local waters, seas will average six feet with winds up to 20 knots (23 miles per hour) today. Small craft operators should exercise caution. There is a moderate risk of rip currents across the coastlines of St.
Croix.
