Office of the Tax Collector to Close Temporarily to Move to New Location

Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach Esq. advises the public that the St. Thomas Office of the Tax Collector, located at the Builders Emporium Building, will be closed at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28 through Friday, March 1, for re-location purposes. The office will resume services at 8 a.m. on Monday, March 4, at its new location, Suite 2 of Nisky Center on the ground floor level.

The public can reach the Office of the Tax Collector for the St. Thomas-St. John District by calling 774-2991. Roach believes the public will be better served at the new location.

The following divisions will continue to operate and remain located at the Builders Emporium location at Estate Thomas (behind the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital): Office of the Tax Assessor, Recorder of Deeds, and the Division of Corporations and Trademarks.
