After some lingering light morning showers dissipate, skies will become mostly sunny with high temperatures ranging from the middle 80s to the low 90s. A slot of dry air will cause clear skies today ahead of a few more showers that are forecast to affect the local area tonight.  Southeasterly winds of 10-20 miles per hour will be observed across the region today.

Seas will average two to five feet with winds of 10-20 knots (12-23 miles per hour). A low risk of rip currents exists across St. Thomas and St. John while a moderate rip current risk is affecting beaches on St. Croix today.
