More Showers Wednesday Before Improving in Afternoon

Showers will continue to move across the local area this morning with weather conditions gradually improving during the afternoon as drier as filters in. Daytime high temperatures are expected in the mid 80s.

Across the regional waters, winds between 15-20 knots (17-23 miles per hour) with higher gusts are forecast today. Seas between 8-10 feet are expected but will gradually subside through Thursday. Winds will also gradually decrease by tomorrow. A Small Craft Advisory continues in effect for the local waters and a high risk of rip currents exists for all beaches in the Virgin Islands.
