Kimberly Boulon Fine Art Gallery Event Set for March 13

“Little Lamesure, St John, VI – Lost in Time” by Kimberly Boulon

Kimberly Boulon Fine Art Gallery will present “Ridge to Reef Coral Bay and South Shore, St. John Protection and Preservation.” Our National Park is the community’s gift to the planet revealing understanding and expressing reverence.

The event will take place from 5-7:30 p.m., Friday, March 13, at Marketplace, 2nd floor, Cruz Bay, St. John.

The Gallery invites the public to see its visual artists, enjoy Queen of Tarts appetizers and wine, and hear the music of Eddie Bruce. It will be an evening of entertainment, engagement and enlightenment. There will also be art raffle prizes!

St. John School of the Arts dancers will interpret the “Protection and Preservation from Ridge to Reef in Coral Bay and the South Shore of St. John.”

There will be a raffle at 7:15 p.m., which will include a Kimberly Boulon painting and other art works; 100 percent of ticket sales will benefit programs at St. John School of the Arts Youth. Tickets $10 each or six for $50. Purchase tickets at the gallery between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, through St. John School of the Arts (779-4322) or at the event.

First Drawing: Kimberly Boulon’s oil painting “Little Lamesure, St. John, VI – Lost in Time” (12 x 16 inches plus black frame). A favorite beach on St. John’s South shore with the historic remains of Little Lamesure Estate, including the residence, manager’s house and bay rum works. Value – $2,035.

Ticket buyer does not need to be present at the event to win. (Does not include shipping).

Jeweler Karen Calandra’s beautiful necklace is a sterling silver chain, swirl connector, Peruvian opal accent, double-sided enamel lagoon. Value – $90. Person must be present at the event to win (7:15 p.m. drawing).

Third Drawing: “Emergence” by Adren Anderson, artist and VINP Sea Turtle Volunteer coordinator. A precious sculpted Hawksbill sea turtle hatchling emerging from its shell. Porcelain with slip and sgraffito. Value – $80. Winner must be present at the event – (7:15 p.m. drawing).
