Our government is struggling to make ends meet. It’s time that our governor steps up to the plate and protects the people of these islands. Cancel the EDC benefits for those large money-making companies. This will bring in over $50 million per year.
The government could then pay its WAPA bills, fund the Waste Management Agency, and eliminate the property tax for private residential property owners. Also, it could give back our St. John Capital Improvement Fund.
