Temporary Closure of VITEMA Offices Territory-wide
The Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA) announces temporary closure of its offices territory-wide to conduct holiday celebrations.
• St. Croix – Thursday, Dec. 20 from noon to 5 p.m.
• St. Thomas-St. John – Friday, Dec. 21, from noon to 5 p.m.
Normal hours of operation will resume on Monday, Dec. 24. For immediate assistance during temporary closures, customers may contact the VITEMA office located on St. Croix at 773-2244 or St. Thomas at 774-2244, or email contact@vitema.vi.gov. For emergencies, phone 911.

The St. Croix District of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles will be closed due to its annual Christmas Party on Thursday, Dec. 20, according to BMV Director Lawrence A. Olive.

Division of Personnel Announces Office Closures/St. Thomas and St. Croix
The Division of Personnel St. Thomas location will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 27, according to a press release from Milton E. Potter, director of the Division. It will reopen at 8 a.m., Friday, Dec. 28. The St. Croix office will remain open during this period.
The Division of Personnel St. Croix location will be closed at 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 21, and will reopen at 8 a.m., Monday, Dec. 24. The St. Thomas office will be open during this period.

VIHA Public Housing Community Offices to Close Early Dec. 21
The Virgin Islands Housing Authority (VIHA) Central Office and Public Housing Community Management Offices on St. Croix – David Hamilton Jackson Terrace, John F. Kennedy Terrace, Joseph E. James Terrace, Aureo Diaz Heights, Candido Guadelupe Terrace, William’s Delight Villas, Wilford Pedro Home, Walther I.M. Hodge, Marley Homes/Additions and Ludvig E. Harrigan will be closed to residents and the public from noon to 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 21.
The offices will resume normal business hours at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 24.

DPNR’s Division of Coastal Zone Management Closure on Dec. 19
The Division of Coastal Zone Management (CZM) will be closed territory-wide on Wednesday, Dec. 19, to allow staff to participate in the division’s end of year staff meeting, according to a press release from the V.I. Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR).
The CZM Division will reopen at its regular business hours on Thursday, Dec. 20.

VIHA Announces Office Closures on St. Thomas, St. Croix
The Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority (VIHA) informs the public that its St. Croix office located in the Fritz Lawaetz Complex in Frederiksted will be closed Thursday, Thursday, Dec. 20, and the St. Thomas office located in the Frenchtown Plaza will be closed on Friday, Dec. 21, for staff meetings and professional development trainings.
Regular hours on St. Croix will resume on Friday, Dec. 21, and regular hours will resume on St. Thomas on Monday, Dec. 24.

Lt. Gov. Osbert E. Potter advises the public that all Offices of the Lieutenant Governor on St. Croix will be closed from noon to 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 28, for employee recognition and training. Normal business hours will resume on Monday, Dec. 31.

Agriculture St. Croix Offices to Close Half Day Dec. 28
The Rudolph Schulterbrandt Agriculture Complex on St. Croix will close at noon on Friday, Dec. 28, to facilitate an employee appreciation luncheon, according to a press release from the V.I. Department of Agriculture (DOA).
The DOA will reopen from 8 a.m. to noon on Monday, Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve Day).

Energy Office on St. Croix to Close for Two Days for Construction
The Virgin Islands Energy Office (VIEO) at 41 Mars Hill Frederiksted, St. Croix, will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 27 and Friday, Dec. 28, to undergo mandatory construction work to the building’s interior.
The St. Thomas office will remain open to the public for business and can be reached at 714-8436.
The St. Croix office will tentatively resume normal business hours at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 31.
