Gusty Winds and Scattered Showers Monday in USVI

Gusty winds with scattered showers will continue across the Virgin Islands today. A patch of drier air is forecast to move in today slightly reducing shower activity. Daytime high temperatures are expected in the mid 80s.

Across the local waters, strong east-northeasterly winds will continue over the area and some gusts could approach 35 knots (38 miles per hour). Winds will begin to decrease on Wednesday. A High Surf Advisory remains in effect. 

 
There is a high risk of rip currents at all Virgin Islands beaches today.
