Friends of VI National Park will hold its annual meeting at the Annaberg Plantation Ruins in Virgin Islands National Park  (VINP) at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 25. Come hear what Friends has accomplished and plans for the upcoming year to protect, preserve and connect within the park. All Friends members and the public are invited and welcome to attend.

The meeting will include an annual report from Todd Sampsell, Friends of the Park president; a State of the Park Address from VINP Superintendent Nigel Fields; and a keynote address from St. John Administrator Shikima L. Jones. Following the meeting, guests are encouraged to tour the ruins where cultural demonstrators will perform. Light refreshments will be served.

All those attending the meeting are strongly encouraged to use taxi, shuttles and/or carpool because parking at Annaberg is limited. Parking is not permitted along the roadsides or in the taxi drop off area. Friends is providing shuttle service from the Lumberyard parking lot in Cruz Bay. Shuttles will depart at 9 a.m. and 9:15 a.m., and return at noon and 12:30 p.m.
