Flags to Be Flown at Half-staff to Honor U.S. Supreme Court Justice

President Donald Trump has proclaimed that flags around the nation be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset, Tuesday, July 23, to honor the legacy and long-standing service of the late John Paul Stevens, retired associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.

All American flags being flown in public spaces should be properly raised and lowered to half-staff from sunrise until sunset on July 23. Government House is reminding government agencies that all flags being flown outdoors must be lowered at the end of the day/sunset unless the flagpoles are properly lit at night.
