Eustace Victor Samuel Jr. of Estate All for the Better died Aug. 25.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eustace Victor Samuel Sr., better known as “Pops.

He survived by his mother, Ruth Robinson; sons: Jamal, Jhahim and Jhaseem Samuel; daughters: Jhalia and Jhalyrah Samuel; grandson, Kymari Greaux; sisters: Joann Josiah, Elizabeth Robinson, Eloise, Deon, Keisha and Candy Samuel, Heidi and Jackie Peters; brothers: Devon Scatliffe Sr., Delroy Christian, and Craig and Andy Samuel; aunts: Gloria Byam, Fernella Dorbeck and Delta Samuel; uncles: James, Elvin, Samuel and Joseph Byam; and nieces: Cheraine Christian, Nyema Christian, Destiny Josiah, Amaya Christian, N’Quoia Christian, and Miracle Josiah, Sophia, Eugenia, Zandra, Markesha, Danielle, Jamiel and Kayla.

He is also survived by nephews: Kendall Henry, Devon Scatliffe Jr. Atwan Quencas, Gary Barnes Jr., Oseii Mack, Asheem Christian, Ozzie Thomas, Askari Thomas, Aski Thomas and Taheem Christian, Stevory, Sean, Markie, Makeem, Raheem, Tarik, Kadeem and Jovanghn; 15 great nieces; 9 great nephews; cousins too numerous to mention; close cousins: Rupert Byam, Victor Simon Jr. Kevin Simon, Trevor Farrell and Karim Byam; and special friend, Chimwala McIntosh.

Other survivors include close friends: Elisa Mulvine, Hilary Henry, Clifton (Dog Heart) Jacobs, Kevin Pant, Marcus Williams, Benji Williams, Kareem Williams, Adika (Cebo) Rivera, Alfredo (Jahba) Edwards, Clifrin (Killah) Allen and Lincoln; other family members: Byam family, Francis family, Samuel family, Pryce family, Christian family, Joseph family, Jarvis family, Horsford family, Henry family, and the whole of Old Kennedy family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 27, at St. John’s Anglican Church in Christiansted. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
