Eleanor Eurica Tranberg of Estate Hannah’s Rest died on Sept. 6. She was 80 years old.
She is survived by her children: Dean Matthew and Marcia Williams; grandchildren: Umi Reefer, Melicia and Melbourne Williams Jr., Brianna and Brittani Matthew; great-granddaughter, Zaniyah Francis; sisters: Alden T. Martinez and Molly T. Tillman; brother, Svend Tranberg; nephews: Chad Martinez, Troy and Michael Angelo George; nieces: Geminise Johnson, Nicole, Linique, Cadilla, Janissa and Janeale George; and great nephews: Caden Johnson, Amard George, Malik Harris and Jahmar Matthew.
She is also survived by great nieces: Amaia Johnson and Latronya George; brother-in-law, Antonio Martinez, Jr.; son-in-law, Melbourne Williams Sr.; daughter-in-law, Deanne Hicks; and cousins: Gregory, Derrick, James and Rachel Ballantine, Demaris Seales and family, Natalie and Rhea Stevens, Judith Mosley and family, Yvette Phillips and family Judge Maureen Malone, Gail Brooks, Marlene and Eugene Henley and family, Corlis Bell, Lauritz Blackwood and family, Patricia, Eunice and Charlotte Tranberg, Rafael Berrios and family, Ovesen family, Percival family, Nesbitt family and the Gift-Forde families (St. Thomas).
Other survivors include special friends: Diana Richards, Vivianne Young, Eurice Archibald, Maude Dowde, Owen and Cynthia Francis, Louise Petersen and family, Denise Hicks, Desire Jordan, Juliet Liburd, Helen Miller, Sarita Malone, Vernon Matthew and family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Friedensberg Moravian Church. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
