Early Voting to Begin March 16

Early Voting for the 2019 Special Election will commence in both districts on Saturday, March 16, with the testing of machines, as per the 2019 Special Election calendar, to take place at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, March 14, in both district offices on St. Croix and St. Thomas.

The Office of the Supervisor of Elections announces “Early Voting” for the 2019 Special Election will commence from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, and end on Friday, March 22, at the respective district offices (St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John):
•St. Croix Office:
Sunny Isle Annex Unit 4 (adjacent to the Social Security Office)
•St. Thomas Office:
9200 Lockhart Gardens (above Banco Popular)
•St. John Office:
Market Place Suite II

Additional notes: Supervisor of Elections Caroline F. Fawkes advises that “all first-time voters must present identification when they come in to vote. The tabulation of votes cast during early voting will not be made prior to the close of the polls on election day.” Fawkes also advises that the polling sites are campaign free zones.

No electioneering shall take place at the office polling sites.
