Drier air and breezy conditions across the regional waters will bring brief light showers in and around Virgin Islands today. Daytime high temperatures will average in the mid to upper 80s with easterly winds of 10-20 miles per hour.
Seas to seven feet and winds to 20 knots (17 miles per hour) are expected today across the offshore waters and passages. Therefore, small craft advisories are in effect for these waters through Thursday afternoon. For today, a high rip current risk exists for Cramer’s Park on St. Croix with a moderate risk elsewhere across St. Croix and some of the beaches in St. Thomas and St. John.
