The Virgin Islands Department of Education

The Virgin Islands Department of Education, St. Croix District, informs the public that the Arthur Richards Jr. High School and the Alexander Henderson Elementary School (temporarily housed at the Richards campus) will be open for instruction on Friday, March 22.
Students were dismissed early on March 21 due to a backup of sewage on the campus as a result of recent low water pressure issues preventing toilets from flushing correctly. Lines have since been cleared, and water service has been fully restored to the campus.
