DeCastro Clinic Temporarily Closed

Tthe Morris F. deCastro Clinic on St. John was forced to cancel its clinic operations today due to a substantial number of its employees not reporting to work, according to Department of Health Commissioner Julia Sheen-Aaron.

“Significant efforts and resources are being tapped to address this unfortunate situation,” said Sheen-Aaron.

Clients with scheduled appointments affected by this closure are encouraged to reschedule their visit by calling (340) 776-6400.  Community residents and other persons on the island of St. John who are in need of emergency medical attention should call 911 or go directly to the Myrah Keating Smith Community Health Center.
