Crime Stoppers Seeking Information on Recent Crimes

Crime Stoppers is asking the community’s help to solve the following crimes. If anyone knows something, they should say something. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what law enforcement needs to solve these crimes.

Over the past several months, individuals have reported various issues concerning the care and treatment of animals on the island. The Virgin Islands Police Department thanks residents and wants the citizens of St. John to continue to report all cases of animal cruelty. The cases will be investigated and the individuals involved will be prosecuted.

On Monday, September 19, at about 7 p.m. in the area of Estate Enighed, Gerwain Boynes stated that he and another male were arguing over an accusation that Boynes stole the male’s cell phone. An altercation ensued, and Boynes was stabbed several times. He had to be transported to Schneider Regional Medical

Center on St. Thomas. The suspect is described as being black, slim, and between 5’9’’ and 6 feet tall. He was wearing tan shorts and a button down shirt at the time of the assault. If anyone knows anything about the circumstances surrounding this, let Crime Stoppers know.
