The community is invited to join the annual Coral Bay Community Christmas Tree Lighting and Carol Sing-along on Friday, December 20, at 6 p.m. at the Coral Bay basketball court.
Everyone should come out to join in singing carols and welcoming Santa for the kids! This annual tradition brings residents out to sing in a “competitive challenge for festiveness” between neighborhoods. So bring those voices and those neighbors! No talent is required; just lots of holiday and community spirit.
This event is co-hosted by the John’s Folly Learning Institute and the Coral Bay Community Council. Everyone is encouraged to bring gifts for Santa to give the children. Attendees are asked to buy a gift or two, wrap them and label them for a boy or girl and the appropriate age. Either bring the gifts on December 20 or drop them off at CBCC’s office or Connections East.
Parents are asked to accompany their children. Santa will arrive about 7:15 p.m., if all of the children have been good!
