The St. John Animal Care Center is gearing up for the year’s most festive fundraising event on Friday, December 5, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
This year the highly anticipated “Christmas for the Animals” party has a Roaring 1920s theme and will be at the beautiful and spacious villa Tango Mare, which affords 180-degree ocean views over Hart Bay.
The best — and most generous — chefs across the island, as well as guest bartenders at the “Bullets & Bubbles” bar will delight taste buds, while music from the 1920s will get feet tapping.
Great food and drinks, fun music, “cigar girls,” valuable raffles and costume contests are all planned. Guests are encouraged to dress in the spirit of the Roaring 20s or island fancy and join the party.
The annual event raises much needed funds for the St. John ACC, a non-profit organization which cares for the island’s homeless animals and educates the community about proper pet care. Tickets are available for a $100 donation to the ACC and can soon be purchased at Chelsea Drugstore, St. John Hardware, Connections and the ACC. For more information call the ACC at 774-1625.
