Cancer Support VI to Host Last Lecturer on Dec. 5

Cancer Support VI lecturer

Cancer Support VI, sponsored by International Capital & Management Company (ICMC), has announced the next free presentation will be made by Ann Barnard of Insight Psychological Services – St. Thomas, who will lecture on “Surviving and Thriving Through the Holidays.”

The lecture will be held at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the ICMC Boardroom. CSVI is free of charge and open to anyone affected by cancer.

The mission of Cancer Support VI is to provide support, education and information to people living with cancer, their families and friends.

The new location is the International Capital & Management Boardroom: take Dronningens Gade/Polyberg (road the hospital is on); pass the new PG Gas station; go to top of hill; turn left on old V.I. Housing Road to ICMC entrance.

Special note: ICMC has downsized. As a result, it will discontinue the free lectures after this one. However, the Cancer Support Fund will still be functioning to provide financial assistance to local cancer patients. The fund is set up with the Community Foundation (CFVI), and it raised over $100,000 in October. Patients may reach out to Charlene Kehoe, director of Cancer Support VI, at 715-5806 or email: kehec@icmcvi.com for more information.
