The office of the Virgin Islands Board of Nurse Licensure advises registered nurses (RNs) and advanced registered nurses (APRNs) that the VIBNL is temporarily unable to print license ID cards. In the interim, they will be provided with a quick confirmation/ verification for temporary use via email. Staff is currently working on updating the nurses’ licensure database to reflect current renewal status.
If an individual has not received a copy of a quick confirmation/ verification, contact the office of the Virgin Islands Board of Nurse Licensure at 774-7477, extensions 5697/5673/5677 during office business hours 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. AST, Monday through Friday.
Licensees employed at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital, Schneider Regional Medical Center, Frederiksted Health Care Center or the East End Medical Center may contact their employer’s Human Resources Division for an updated status.
