The Virgin Islands Department of Education will hold its 2019-2020 district-wide Spelling Bees on Thursday, Feb. 6, in both school districts.
The St. Thomas-St. John District Intermediate Spelling Bee will begin at 9 a.m. at Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School auditorium.
The St. Croix District Spelling Bee will begin at 9 a.m. at the John H. Woodson Jr. High School auditorium.
Winners from both district spelling competitions will advance to compete in the Territorial Spelling Bee, planned for March 11. Details of the Territorial Bee are forthcoming.
