St. John resident Anetha Barton, above, celebrated her free 60-second shopping spree at Starfish Market on Thursday morning, July 14. Barton filled her cart with $396.60 worth of laundry detergent, juice, fresh meats and more. “I don’t have to use Roma anymore,” she said while grabbing up bottles of Tide.
Barton won the shopping spree in a raffle drawing at Starfish Market’s pre-Festival pancake breakfast party on Saturday morning, June 18, at The Marketplace. The grocery store also hosted a July 9 BBQ and melon-eating contest. below.
