Brief passing showers are expected during the early morning hours, but sunny to partly cloudy skies will prevail today as a drier air mass promotes fair weather conditions across the islands. Over the next few days, passing showers could affect the local area from time to time under a northeasterly wind flow.
A northeast swell will continue to slowly subside today across the Atlantic waters and passages, with seas between five to eight feet. However, another large northeast swell is forecast to reach the Atlantic waters by Wednesday morning, maintaining hazardous marine conditions and life-threatening rip currents through the end of the week. Moderate east to northeast trade winds will prevail across the regional waters through the end of the work week.
